The GOD’S CHILD Project also serves the Native American communities in the United States. Our Bismarck, ND, office collects and distributes clothes to Native American communities thtoughout the state and region.

Most recently, The GOD’S CHILD Project has been focusing its efforts on the Standing Rock Reservation, located in southwestern North Dakota and northwestern South Dakota.

The GOD’S CHILD Project received national recognition when it was given the Make A Difference Day Award, which is chosen annually by USA WEEKEND Magazine and Newman’s Own. The purpose of the award is to recognize a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

The specific, award-winning project involved GOD’S CHILD staff and volunteers helping build a wheelchair ramp for a child with muscular dystrophy, winterizing 5 homes, distributing winter clothing, and refurbishing the Solen Community Center.
