Assist our overnight nurses in feeding, changing, and caring for 15-20 infants and young children at Casa Jackson Malnutrition Center; assist with preparing formulas, sanitizing bottles, doing laundry, and light cleaning of the hospital while patients sleep. Two-hour break provided for sleeping.
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old (no exceptions). Some experience working with infants/young children, as well as basic Spanish preferred due to high level of independence required on overnight shift (one Spanish-speaking nurse and no other volunteers present).
Volunteers should budget approximately Q20-Q40 for transportation to/from hospital each shift, as walking to/from hospital after dark is not recommended.
