About Marlón: Marlón is the only child of a single parent home. His young mother stayed with him at Casa Jackson so she could be there to constantly care for him. It was her first time away from home, but the other mothers, nurses, and staff at Casa Jackson gave her lots of support and helped her feel at ease. After just 3 weeks, Marlón had gained almost 3 lbs. and was healthy and ready to head home with his loving mother and helpful grandfather.
Update: Marlón was discharged from Casa Jackson on March 3, 2012 at a healthy weight of 9 lbs. 9 oz.
