About Joantanni: Joanntoni Edith is a mischievous, affectionate toddler who loves playing with baby dolls and being sung to. Edith understands far more than she can say, and is very observant of new people or activities! She has a few sounds that she uses to communicate, but with extra attention and opportunities to practice new sounds and simple words, she is able to appropriately use words such as manos (hands) and pacha (milk). Edith has a problem with her feet that is impacting her ability to walk independently, and although all of her MRIs and x-rays appear normal, her feet seem to point to the left when walking and she needs someone or something to hold onto to keep her balance.
UPDATE: Joantanni was discharged from Casa Jackson on September 6, 2011, at a healthy weight of 21.3 Lbs.
