About Jeferson Ismael: Jeferson Ismael is a very playful, mischievous little boy who is constantly jabbering away in a language only he understands… Little by little, his words are becoming more understandable. When he first arrived, he was inconsolable, clinging to any volunteer who held or hugged him, sobbing for his mama. He has made a wonderful adjustment, and is now one of our “3 little ducklings”- our 3 toddler boys who tumble around Casa Jackson exploring and being silly together. He has gained weight quickly and is well on his way to returning home to his very eager young mother and grandfather (who shares in his care).
Update: Jeferson Ismael was discharged from Casa Jackson on March 20, 2012 at a healthy weight of 20 lbs. 2 oz.
