The work and dedicated staff of the Dreamer Center also reach beyond the borders into neighboring El Salvador to care for those in need. Following the call and passion that is The GOD’S CHILD Project, La Asociación Nuestros Ahijados cares for and educates 48 children in need in Guazapa, El Salvador.
Guazapa is a town that was ravaged by the civil wars of El Salvador. It has a population of 30,000. With the extreme poverty that is experienced in this region, children will many times be forced into labor situation instead of receiving the education necessary to break them free from poverty. The GOD’S CHILD Project in El Salvador is ensuring that the children of the region are in school and that they are receiving food, clothing, and health supplies. In 2010, ServiceTeams build 3 houses, which bought pride to all of the families involved.
